Gliss is a transformative tool that enables iOS devices to function as expressive, motion-based controllers for music when paired with MiMU's desktop application, Glover.

This application leverages wireless technology to transmit motion sensor data from your iPhone or iPad to your computer, allowing for a dynamic approach to music production and performance.

Users can harness various gestures to manipulate sound in innovative ways, such as:
<ul>
 <li>Tilt the device to apply vocal effects</li>
 <li>Execute sharp movements to simulate air drumming</li>
 <li>Adjust synthesizer parameters through gestural control</li>
 <li>Trigger samples without physical contact with the computer</li>
</ul>

Furthermore, Gliss automatically captures and transmits gyroscope and accelerometer data—specifically pitch, yaw, and roll. The application also allows users to customize touch sensitivity by recognizing finger movements on the screen, creating a more intuitive interface for musical expression.

By connecting Gliss with Glover via Wi-Fi, users can map movement signals to control a wide array of live music and video software or hardware that supports MIDI or OSC. Popular programs compatible with Gliss include Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, Mainstage, Max/MSP, Unity, and FL Studio, among others.
